A a half day workshop to equip real estate developers and investors, valuers, financiers, facility managers, architects, engineers, project managers and other stakeholders with a better understanding of the ways in which sustainability affects the level or risk, and subsequently the value, associated with a green building.The trainers will highlight the key business case value factors for the various stakeholder groups and will explain how sustainable buildings provide benefits in each instance.

Steven Borncamp is the elected Chair of the Europe Green Building Council Network’s Education Taskforce and the Founding President of the Romania Green Building Council. He is the lead author for the „Green Building Professional“ multi-disciplinary, lifelong learning accreditation adopted by thirteen Green Building Councils across Europe. As Co-Director of Construction21.eu, he is responsible for international development and is a frequent contributor to this online platform dedicated to advancing best practices in green building.
Steven and his team assisted the development of seven Green Building Councils in Europe, delivered multiple „Build Green Central Eastern Europe“ conferences, an influential green buildings awards program, and numerous other green building initiatives for the region including in the areas of policy and green finance. He has worked effectively to create a comprehensive and proficient marketplace for green building solution providers and is currently leading three exemplary green building projects aspiring to full petal certification of the Living Building Challenge.
